Wagons

Wagon kits are the body and underframe only, and require wheels, bearings and some detail parts to complete. All wagons (unless otherwise stated) are priced at £10 for a single wagon, or £9 each for two or more, plus P&P.

These ballast wagons were constructed from 1874 to 1900, with the final examples withdrawn around 1930. They had varying capacities from 6 to 8 tons and were seen all over the network.

Kit requires 12mm open spoke wheels (Gibson 4001 recommended), bearings and coupling hooks. A build video is available here.

TSW02 - LBSC 'Open A' Diagram 1371

1250 of these steel-underframed wagons were built between 1896 and 1900. Available in two types, as built by Cravens and BRCW. Both types are available with and without sheet rails.

Kit requires 13mm wheels, bearings and coupling hooks.

TSW03 - SER 'Express' coal/goods wagon Diagram 1328
SER 4-plank 'Express' Coal and Goods wagon
120 of these coal wagons were built at Ashford between 1885 and 1888. They had an 8 to 10-ton capacity and were reclassified by the SR as open goods wagons,with the last being withdrawn in 1935.

Kit requires 14mm Mansell wheels, bearings and coupling hooks. A build video is available here.
